The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 7:00 a.m. EDT (11:00 GMT or 4:00 a.m. PDT local time) from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base. SpaceX confirmed via social media that all 25 satellites from the Group 17-18 batch were successfully deployed into low Earth orbit about an hour after liftoff.
A Reliable Workhorse
The first stage of the Falcon 9, identified as Booster 1097, demonstrated its reliability during this mission. Completing its seventh spaceflight, the booster returned to Earth for a successful landing on the droneship "Of Course I Still Love You", stationed in the Pacific Ocean.
