FreeCast begins selling Starlink Business via reseller deal
FreeCast will resell Starlink Business to offer enterprise satellite broadband bundled with streaming and media services.
FreeCast is adding Starlink Business to its lineup through a reseller agreement, giving the company a way to offer enterprise-grade satellite broadband alongside its streaming television and digital media products.
The deal expands FreeCast’s technology portfolio and supports a broader push to package internet access with its existing streaming aggregation, advertising technology, and Platform-as-a-Service offerings. The company said the arrangement increases its ability to serve organizations that want both connectivity and digital media services from one provider.
"Connectivity and content have historically been delivered separately", FreeCast Chief Executive Officer William Mobley said in a statement this week. "This relationship allows FreeCast to combine enterprise broadband access with streaming television, local content, advertising, community engagement, and digital commerce solutions, creating a more comprehensive offering for organizations serving large groups of consumers."
FreeCast said it plans to pursue business across several commercial and institutional sectors, including multifamily housing, student housing, hotels, healthcare systems, senior living communities, municipalities, tribal broadband projects, RV resorts, and rural markets.
As part of the strategy, the company intends to pair Starlink Business connectivity with services such as white-label streaming television platforms, local and regional content aggregation, Broadcast Enabled Streaming TV (BEST), community information channels, local news and weather portals, subscription management tools, and advertising platforms.
FreeCast also said it sees future opportunities tied to the combined offering, including support for hospitality entertainment systems, resident communications platforms, and consumer engagement tools.
